Compassion 575

I am so pleased to report donors have given over $127,000 to Compassion 575, a NCM fundraiser to start new CDCs in South Asia. Because of your gifts, there are now 7 new CDCs in Bangladesh, Sri Lanka and Nepal supported for 2 years. This represents the equivalent of 588 wonderful children being sponsored for 2 years. Praise God.

Roger Costa held a flashlight as we taped the below linked video in the new CDC in Bardaghat, Nepal. I am pleased to share that Pastor Jeff Jackson and I will join a work team from the Shepherds CON, to build this new center in October 2010.

Thank you for your support in reaching lost children who despratetly need to know about Christ’s love. We praise God for all that has been accomplished in Christ’s name. As we entire 2010, let us commit anew to reaching the lost. Happy New Year.

Merry Christmas from the Argabright family

This video clip reflects 120 children in the Joyti CDC - in Kathmandu, Nepal thanking you for giving them hope by investing in Nazarene Child Development Centers.  Mostly from a Hindu background, the children send their smiles and love from a new building built by alabaster funds and much local church labor. They remember a humble beginning of earlier days meeting in a pig pen, thus they used to be called the pig pen CDC. Thank you for giving to change the lives of the beautiful children in South Asia.

This photo was taken in the shadows of a Buddhist temple. It reminded me of this prayer by St. Francis. “Lord, make me a channel of thy peace… that where there is despair, I may bring hope; that where there are shadows, I may bring light.”

I am proud of our church for investing resources to give children hope of a future in Christ Jesus. NCM does a super job.

Today is the day to invest in these young lives. I was so privileged to share about the needs of children last weekend at a South Asia Partnership meeting at the Living Word CON in Houston. They have made it a priority to invest in the needs of children.
