Compassion 575 is an approved fundraiser for Nazarene Compassionate Ministries (NCM) to sponsor children in new Child Development Centers (CDCs) in South Asia. A $108 contribution will sponsor a child for 12 months. $8,100 will sponsor 75 children for 12 months. Many have given sacrificially and 13 new CDCs have been started the last 2 years.
CDCs are run by the staff of Nazarene Compassionate Ministries. We have staff ready to begin new CDCs but they lack the resources. Your contribution can “build futures” for the children in South Asia.
Last year David Argabright rode 575 miles on a bicycle in the mountains of Virginia and North Carolina, to bring awareness of the needs of children in South Asia, The blogs posted between June 1 and June 10, 2009 document the many miracles God performed.
Beginning May 10, 2010 a ride is planned from Nashville to Houston. Bangladesh NCM coordinator and District Superintendent, Rev. Sukamal Biswas has committed 10,000 brothers and sisters to pray for God’s blessing on the children of South Asia, David Argabright and all participants in this ride. Join us on the journey of “building futures.”
Contribution checks should be made to Global Treasury Services, Church of Nazarene. Write NCMCOMP575 in the memo area. Mail checks to: South Asia Partnership P. O. Box 12144 Roanoke, VA 24023. Your tax-deductible contributions are forwarded to Nazarene Headquarters to be used 100% for sponsoring children in Child Development Centers.
