I am still re-reading Jim Cymbala’s Fresh Wind, Fresh Fire. A statement today greatly challenged me. Cymbala says, “God will manifest himself in direct proportion to our passion for him.”
How hungry am I for God to move in a fresh way in my life? Am I too satisfied with, what I believe to be, “doctrinal purity” instead of God’s power in me? Is the church too busy trying to “do church” right instead of being busy seeking God, Himself?
