One Year Discipleship Path - Option 1

This is part one, or option one, of a series to help provide insight on systematic discipleship for your church. Today we begin with the basic and familiar discipleship pieces from Chic Shaver.  From Chic’s materials we derive resources that are time tested and widely used.  These tools are mostly for adult discipleship  and provide in depth Biblical study with effective accountability in the Wesleyan way.  So here it goes!

1.  Basic Bible Studies for New and Growing Christians - One lesson per week for 8 weeks to be done 1 on 1 with a spiritual mentor.

2.  John 1 “That All Might Believe” - This is for small groups and can be completed in 14 weeks.

3.  John 2 “That you Might Have Life” - This is for small groups and continues the growth of a new believer even further.  12 weeks.

4. Living in the Power of the Spirit - Leads to teaching on living in the spirit, the sanctified life, developing a personal prayer life and more.  Includes an instructional DVD that is very helpful.  12 weeks/small group setting.

IF you are unable to get a group for option #4 try…

Basic Bible Studies for the Spirit-Filled and Sanctified Life8 weeks/one-on-one mentoring resource.

Stay tuned for more ONE YEAR discipleship path options…this is just the beginning!
