The pain, the agony, the time! No I’m not talking about preparing for the Chicago Marathon - I’m talking about finding that new worship leader when you are looking for one and aren’t getting anywhere.  I talk to several pastors, especially new church plant pastors, and many of these pastors ask if I know of any good worship leaders ’cause “we’re in between.”  For starters my definition of “good” is subjective, and the philosophy of worship that I have is also subjective so this makes the question posed to me very broad.

However, I was talking to a friend that I work with, Stan Endicott (Worship Principal for Consuming Worship), about this dilemma of pastors and churches that find themselves in between worship leaders, he suggested that pastors take a quick peak at this website - www.slingshotgroup.net. When I took a look at the site, low and behold, I found an article on what to look for in your search for a new worship leader.  In fact, the Slingshot Group is this great and talented group of folks that really knows what they are doing in an effort to come along side churches in Creative Arts, Worship, and Media Arts.  I’d highly recommend you take a look at the ‘what we do‘ page for more details.
